My favorite singer is Victor Jara, he was a big revolutionary because he could show the reality in his song. He was an important chilean musician ho was killed during the military dictatorship in the nacional stadium.
Victor Jara was more than a singer, he was a composer to, that's why when he sings he should his heart and he could touch the people.
I don`t kwon exacly what kind of music he played, I would say that is music folk, but the most importat is that his music is about social protest and the feeling of The People.
I like his music because I think that his creation are wonderful and simple. And I like because I always thought that the music should be an expresion of the major problems of the society such as inequality and Victor Jara could show that.

ReplyDeleteVictor Jara is a great composer. I think similar to you, his songs are reflection of society. Victor is a one of the best chilean musician and this is reflected in each of his compositions.
